SPLASH!

Ladies, Gentlemen, sailors; I give you the Goat Island Skiff, "Chivita."


The name is Spanish for little goat and is the common term for that small pointy beard known in English as a Goatee.

She was introduced to Neptune at Lake St. Catherine, Vermont, on Sunday, May 26, 2013.  It was a cold rainy weekend but I forged ahead in my usual stubborn fashion.  Thanks to several neighbors and family members we accomplished the goal of launching her formally.

Here is the proof:



I was unaware that there was a bird's nest built on the upside down deck surface.
